Belastungen von Studierenden der Kindheitspädagogik in der Berufspraxis

Abstract

Welche Belastungen angehende Kindheitspädagog:innen in ihrer Berufspraxis erleben und wie sie mit diesen umgehen, ist weitgehend unerforscht. Dieses Desiderat wird im Beitrag aufgegriffen und mittels Dokumentenanalyse schriftlicher Praktikumsreflexionen von Studierenden eines dualen Studiengangs der Kindheitspädagogik (N=40) untersucht. Die Ergebnisse zeigen auf, dass die Studierenden diverse Belastungen erleben, die sich in für Berufsanfänger:innen spezifische Belastungen (z. B. mangelnde Unterstützung) und alle Fachkräfte betreffende Belastungen (z. B. Personalmangel) differenzieren lassen. Der Umgang der Studierenden mit den Belastungen legt nahe, dass diese entweder anregend für die weitere professionelle Entwicklung sein können oder den Verbleib im Beruf gefährden können.
