Herausforderungen für den Einsatz und die Nutzung digitaler Technologien für Alter(n) und Pflege

Abstract

Digitalisierung wird für die Nutzung sektorenübergreifender (Telematik-)Infrastruktur im Gesundheitswesen, für Einrichtungen und professionelle Arbeit in der Pflege sowie für das Alter(n) sowohl in lebensweltlichen als auch pflegebezogenen Kontexten zunehmend relevant. Herausforderungen für die professionelle Pflege, die für die vorliegende Expertise im Rahmen von Expert*innen-Interviews ermittelt wurden, beziehen sich insbesondere auf die technische Ausstattung und Errichtung betrieblicher Digitalstrategien in Einrichtungen sowie auf den Auf- und Ausbau digitaler Kompetenzen sowie partizipativer Gestaltungsräume für Beschäftigte in Einrichtungen. Im Bereich Alter(n) wurden Herausforderungen der Techniknutzung insbesondere in Bezug auf die heterogenen Voraussetzungen der Gruppe älterer Menschen in Bezug auf die Finanzierung und die erforderlichen Technikkompetenzen für eine nutzenstiftende und sichere Anwendung herausgestellt. Handlungsansätze liegen in der Einrichtung von Erfahrungsräumen, der zielgruppengerechten Förderung digitaler Kompetenzen sowie der Stärkung des Verbraucherschutzes.
