Abstract

Die fortschreitende Globalisierung der Produktion von Waren und Dienstleistungen ist nicht erst seit der Coronakrise Gegenstand zahlreicher Debatten. Die damit einhergehenden Diskussionen um soziale Nachhaltigkeit der globalen Lieferketten von multinationalen Konzernen haben aufgezeigt, dass Unternehmen ihrer gesellschaftlichen Verantwortung nur bedingt nachkommen. Im Fokus dieses Working Paper steht die erstmalige Ermittlung und Beschreibung von vergleichbaren sozialen Indikatoren entlang der globalen Wertschöpfungsketten ausgewählter deutscher Branchen.
