Le cooperative vitivinicole tra tradizione ed efficienza: Una riflessione sul caso italiano

Abstract

L effettivo ruolo economico delle cooperative, in generale e a livello settoriale, spesso sottovalutato e non compreso appieno. Ci vero anche per le cooperative operanti nel settore agricolo. Infatti tra i numerosi commenti sulla recente e particolarmente positiva performance del settore agricolo, che ha contribuito a riportare in attivo la bilancia dei pagamenti nazionale, quasi nessuno si soffermato a valutare il ruolo svolto dalle cooperative e dai consorzi tra produttori agricoli. Scopo del paper di contribuire a colmare questa lacuna. Attraverso l ausilio di diverse fonti si ricostruisce la dimensione e si propone un analisi della funzione economica della cooperazione agricola italiana, anche attraverso una comparazione con le societ di capitali e con un focus specifico sul settore vitivinicolo.
