Abstract

Российская Федерация уже 15 лет ведет переговоры о вступлении во Всемирную торговую организацию (ВТО), что диктует необходимость своевременной и объективной оценки степени готовности российской экономики к этому вступлению. Цель работы заключается в том, чтобы выяснить наиболее приемлемые сроки вхождения РФ в ВТО и меры, которые необходимо для этого предпринять. Авторы отчета приходят к выводу о том, что торопиться с вступлением в ВТО ни в коем случае не следует. При вступлении в ВТО Россия должна добиться права на использование переходного периода (что не противоречит нормам ВТО) и определить содержание тех мер, которые необходимо осуществить во время переходного периода. Одним из важнейших условий вступления в ВТО является создание конкурентоспособного сектора в обрабатывающей промышленности, что потребует государственной поддержки.
