Índices De “Mark Up” En El Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista De Argentina

    La intención de este trabajo es analizar el grado de competencia en el sector de generación eléctrica para cuatro períodos estacionales comprendidos entre 1999 y 2001. Mediante la simulación de despachos teóricos se trata de determinar un escenario en el cual las firmas no puedan tener conductas anticompetitivas. Este “benchmark” es luego testeado con el despacho real por medio de Índices de Lerner. Los índices obtenidos, si bien no pueden ser usados directamente para diagnosticar poder de mercado, muestran persistentemente desvíos del ideal de competencia perfecta.
