Abstract

Logistic is the art and manner of putting a given product at clients’ disposal at the right time and place, with the best quality and the least cost. In a first step, we clarify the logistic concept and we define the different associated denominations and fields. Then, in a second step, we stress the importance of logistic in France. Finally, in a third step, we present, as exhaustively as possible, the different logistic studies in France, and we try to draw the impacts of these studies and their present evolution.
