Aspects that affect students' satisfaction with higher education quality management in Pakistan

Abstract

This study is an attempt to analyze the factors which affect students’ satisfaction in Higher Education in Pakistan. For this purpose, the sample size of 500 students related to the higher education was taken into consideration and was provided with the questionnaires. The responses obtained from the students were analyzed through SPSS. Furthermore, 10 teachers were also included in the sample size from which interviews were taken to accomplish the aim of the paper. The interviews were analyzed using a thematic analysis approach. In this paper literature related to the topic along with the conceptual framework was also highlighted which further enhanced the understanding of the topic. The findings of the paper concluded that educational policies, online system, appropriate teachers and classroom atmosphere are the major factors which impact the students’ satisfaction in higher education in Pakistan. Moreover the communication and quality of services like the library can also enhance the level of satisfaction.
