Abstract

Lands, which are unsuitable for intensive use, are cultivated with agricultural practices, fertilizer and tools that are used in organic farming. The author proposes to use these areas for the production of environmentally friendly products, to ensure domestic food aid to the population and supply of healthy food for pregnant and lactating women, children, and clients of social institutions. Lands, which are not suitable for intensive use, are a resource of organic farming for growing environmentally friendly products. Mechanisms of motivation of enterprises and individual farmers in the use of environmental technologies and lands, which are unsuitable for intensive use, are discussed in the article. The author gives information on government decisions and federal target programs and subprograms of the Russian Federation until 2020.
