Abstract

El enfoque de capacidad desarrollado por Sen representa una propuesta para la evaluación del bienestar individual y social centrada en las personas y alejada –pero no excluyente- de la materialidad. En el presente artículo se describe el enfoque de capacidad desarrollado por Sen y se examina la importancia que tiene para la evaluación del desarrollo humano.
