[On the programme for the 2016 Russia census of agriculture]

Abstract

The authors of this article review issues, associated with developing the programme for the 2016 Russia census of agriculture and summarizing its results, with account to the information needs of agricultural management bodies of all levels, business, science and general public. It is proposed to make greater use of the census experience of the developed countries, allocation and comprehensive characterization of industrial types of enterprises, their accounting during sample surveys on the basis of census results.
