Abstract

The paper considers the buildings of eco-houses as one of the projects for solving the problems of sustainable development according to the principles formulated at the Rio Conference 1992. Basic characteristic of the eco-houses are explored, such as the energy effectiveness, water consumptions effectiveness, rapid decreasing of the waste water and trash removal etc. The worldwide actuality is great increasing trends of the projecting and developing such eco-houses. Because of their’s advantages and opportunities they are the possibility of the realizing these projects in the rural areas, but in the urban areas public utility and other infrastructures can make such realization more difficult. It is showed that the possibility of the resistance for ecohouse project, especially in the cities are very real.
