Abstract

The current period is one full of unforeseen changes. A major problem for most Slovak businesses, as well as foreign companies finding themselves in a difficult and turbulent business environment, is the difficulty to find good quality employees. Even after they found them, it is difficult to keep them, especially if they achieve excellent results at work. It is about managing talent, or talent management, becoming common and extremely popular on both domestic and foreign markets. The success of such businesses often depends on talent management, which tends to be very topical. The aim of the paper is to highlight talent management in corporate and commercial practice, which is also becoming a competitive advantage. The success and performance of those businesses often particularly depends on such a competitive advantage, which is the cornerstone for their foundation and further development.
