Abstract

The gap in Morocco between the legislative framework (de jure) and the everyday life reality (de facto) forces us to take a closer look at the barriers to women's access to market work, pay equity, entrepreneurship, and positions of responsibility. The gap encourages us to examine the multiple and differentiated motives that sustain, male domination, the hierarchy of sectors of activity and the vulnerability of low-income women.
