PTPN XII: a company under monopolistic competition with oligopoly product type

Abstract

PT Perkebunan Nusantara XII, that is abbreviated as PTPN XII is engaged in plantations for cocoa, tea, sugar cane, rubber and coffee. One of its famous product is Kopi Luwak. Since the production process is labor-intensive, the cost is high and not many firms could easily produce this type of coffee. So, is the PTPN XII is under monopolistic competition or oligopoly?
