Os Impactos da Copa do Mundo de Futebol de 2014 para o Mercado Imobiliário em São Paulo

Abstract

São Paulo é uma das cidades-sede da Copa do Mundo de Futebol de 2014. Existe a preocupação de como atender a todas as exigências que um evento desse porte demanda, tendo em vista a carência de infraestrutura em determinadas áreas. Os investimentos e as obras que serão erguidas e/ou reformadas em função do evento são grandiosos. A maior preocupação reside no questionamento se tais investimentos retornarão de forma a deixar um legado à sociedade paulista, como por exemplo, a ampliação da capacidade dos aeroportos, dos hotéis, da mobilidade urbana e de postos de trabalho, dentre outras. É uma oportunidade para que, uma cidade como São Paulo, que possui perfil de negócios e organização de megaeventos, usufrua dos benefícios criados. Este trabalho indica possíveis impactos provocados pela indução de crescimento no setor imobiliário na cidade de São Paulo.
