Abstract

Celem niniejszego opracowania jest dokonanie analizy porownawczej rozumienia i praktycznego wykorzystania koncepcji rozwoju sustensywnego oraz spojnoœci terytorialnej w wiod¹cych dokumentach strategicznych na poziomie EU, ba³tyckim i krajowym. Zamys³em autora jest u³atwienie planistom regionalnym pos³ugiwanie siê tymi koncepcjami w ich codziennej pracy na ro¿nych poziomach planowania. Comparative analysis of the meaning and practical application of the two key concepts of territorial cohesion and sustainable development is presented in the paper. The key strategic documents of Poland, Baltic Sea region and EU have been examined to that end. The paper illustrates different approaches to application of the notions of territorial cohesion and sustainable development in programming development at different geographical scales.
