Abstract

Working paper on interrelationships between the formal and informal sectors in kumasi, Ghana, based on study of the manufacturing activities of small scale industry - covers the growth of employment opportunity and capital formation in the informal sector, labour productivity, size of enterprise in relation to capital intensive activities, etc., and describes the research methods used in the sample survey. Graphs, maps, references and statistical tables.
