Explorando La Demanda De Carburantes De Los Hogares Españoles: Un Análisis De Sensibilidad

Abstract

. En este trabajo se estiman, a partir de los datos de la Encuesta Continua de Presupuestos Familiares (1998-2001), distintas especificaciones estáticas y dinámicas de la demanda de carburantes de los hogares españoles utilizando un modelo AIDS. Para tal fin, en cada estimación se han tenido en cuenta los problemas de infrecuencia de compra, heterogeneidad y endogeneidad. Las elasticidadesprecio oscilan en media entre -0,51 y -0,70, mientras que las elasticidades gasto varían entre 0,83 y 2,05. La dispersión de las elasticidades depende fundamentalmente del procedimiento utilizado para corregir la infrecuencia de compra y en mucha menor medida de la especificación utilizada (estática o dinámica). Los valores son próximos a los obtenidos en otros trabajos donde se emplean modelos AIDS y QAIDS.
