Abstract

After being the heart of the civilization of humanity, the Mediterranean sinks into wars, economic crises, illegal immigration. It has lost its economic bearings in the process of economic globalization that has been inviting since the collapse of the Soviet Union. The analysis of its political and religious heritage, the heterogeneity of the economic development of its residents, the extent of the militarization of this "hot" sea, the evolutionary strategies of the great powers, the appearance of new rarities and at the same time the discovery of new energy resources are as many questions about the stability of states face new risks likely to create interstate conflicts.
