Abstract

L'objectif general consiste a cherhcer dans quelle mesure l'augmentation importante de la formation dispensee par les systemes educatifs est, et surtout sera, compatible avec la hausse des besoins en qualification des systemes productifs. L'angle choisi est celui de l'etude -en comparaison internationale- des consequences economiques et sociales de la hausse generalisee des niveaux d'education sur le fonctionnement de marches du travail par ailleurs durablement affectes par le chomage. Quelles sont les consequences, a court et a moyen terme, sur les regles d'acces a l'emploi, sur la mise en oeuvre du travail dans l'entreprise de cette hausse due essentiellement a l'entree en activite de jeunes de mieux en mieux formes, ou tout au moins dotes de diplomes de niveaux de plus en plus eleves? Comment les "systemes formation-emploi" de pays dotes de systemes d'education et de formation mais aussi d'emplois differents vont-ils reagir a cette acceleration de la pression de l'offre educative?
