SaniMod-Reg 2012-2030 unisce quattro lavori importanti per il dibattito di policy. Quattro aspetti che per la prima volta si ritrovano affrontati assieme e correlati: 1) Il benchmarking tra Sistemi Sanitari Regionali ("Ssr") e l'individuazione degli standard nei profili di spesa pro-capite per fasce di età delle Regioni più virtuose; 2) Le proiezioni a medio-lungo termine della spesa standard e della spesa lorda delle inefficienze; 3) Le proiezioni a medio-lungo termine del finanziamento, secondo l'ipotesi che a regime tutte le Regioni (incluse quelle a statuto speciale) concorrano alla copertura integrale della spesa standard con una quota omogenea del loro Pil ("egual sacrifico proporzionale"); 4) La quantificazione dettagliata, sia in percentuale del Pil che in Euro assoluti, di: spesa regionale standard e lorda delle inefficienze; concorso al finanziamento da parte di ciascuna Regione; flussi di redistribuzione territoriale che derivano dalla combinazione della regola di standardizzazione della spesa e della regola di finanziamento.
