El impacto económico de las políticas sociales

Abstract

En el presente documento busca avanzar en la relación entre las políticas sociales y la economía, los recursos involucrados en su financiamiento y el impacto económico que estas generan, tanto a nivel micro como macro. Asimismo, se intenta una discusión sobre las alternativas metodológicas existentes para lograr medir dichos impactos en la región. La discusión conceptual y metodológica aquí presentada es válida en general para toda la política social, no obstante que en el documento se hace un análisis más detallado para el caso de los programas de transferencias de ingreso, actualmente muy difundidos en la región.
