Abstract

The purpose of this document is to study the cultural code of sexual relations from the female point of view in Colombia, analyzing this, from the underlying characteristics in the emotional, rational and instinctive environment proposed by Clotaire Rapaille in his book The cultural code. For this, a market research was carried out, through in-depth interviews and a focus group with individuals of both genders, selected for convenience. After a qualitative analysis of these tools, the results point to a cultural code of 'Affective bond', that is, the unconscious meaning that colombian women give to sexual relations that is significantly linked to “connection or love” towards the couple and the relationship that is created as a motivator for the consummation of intercourse.
