Inclusión financiera empresarial: evidencia con registros administrativos

Abstract

Con el fin de complementar el diagnóstico de la inclusión financiera se explican los factores que inciden en el acceso a productos de depósito y crédito de las empresas registradas en las 57 cámaras de comercio de Colombia. Para ello se utilizan los registros de la central de información TransUnion y la base de datos del Registro Único Empresarial y Social (RUES). Los resultados sugieren que las firmas más grandes y antiguas tienen una mayor probabilidad de contar con productos financieros activos y aquellas que pertenecen a los sectores agropecuario y minero son las más rezagadas en términos de acceso y uso de servicios financieros. Asimismo, se destacan los depósitos electrónicos y los microcréditos como los productos más utilizados por las organizaciones que tienen menores niveles de acceso.
