Desigualdad de Logros Educativos en Argentina: Desafíos Post Pandemia

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar la desigualdad en los aprendizajes de Lengua y Matemática de los estudiantes de sexto grado de la primaria entre y dentro de las escuelas en Argentina pre y post pandemia. Utilizando datos de Aprender 2018 y 2021 se calcularon los índices de Theil ponderados por la población. Los resultados muestran que 22 de las 24 jurisdicciones empeoraron el desempeño promedio en Matemática mientras que en Lengua el panorama es aún más desalentador, ya que las 24 jurisdicciones disminuyeron el desempeño promedio. Al tiempo que cayeron los aprendizajes promedio, se produjo un aumento en la desigualdad de los resultados en el caso de Lengua en todas las jurisdicciones. Mientras que en el caso de matemática, la desigualdad aumentó sólo en 7 de las 24. En ambos años la mayor desigualdad se dio al interior de las escuelas y esta proporción aumentó con posterioridad a la pandemia.
