Abstract

Ce rapport examine la structure et la performance de la filière engrais au Mali, avec un accent particulier sur le programme de subventions des engrais. Ainsi, on examine les effets de la subvention sur l’accès aux engrais, sur les prix, sur la productivité et la compétitivité au sein de la filière. Pour répondre aux objectifs de développement rural et pour faire face à la hausse du prix des denrées alimentaires et des intrants, le gouvernement malien a mis en place un programme de subventions des engrais à partir de la campagne 2008/09. Avec ce programme, les prix des engrais pour les cultures de riz, de maïs, de coton, de blé, de mil et de sorgho sont subventionnés.
