Abstract

Die negativen Folgen des Flächenverbrauchs liegen in einem Entzug von Flächenwirksamkeit freier, kollektiver Güter: Habitate, Ressourcen, Landschaft, Freiraum. Die Folgen müssen qualitativ und quantitativ erfasst werden, wenn nach Legitimität und Multifunktionalität unterschieden werden soll. In diesem Beitrag wird dies für die Typen "Freistehendes Einfamilienhaus" (EFH) und "Freiflächen-Solaranlage" (FFA) versucht. Fallbeispiele zum Einfamilienhaus zeigen, dass auf Privatgrundstücken eine Begrenzung der negativen Wirkungen sowohl in qualitativer wie quantitativer Hinsicht unterlaufen wird, während flächensparendes Bauen mit Gemeinschaftsflächen sowohl ökologisch wie sozial qualitative Vorteile bringt. Bei Freiflächen-Solaranlagen zeigt sich, dass für ökologische Differenzierungen Kriterien vorliegen, dem Erhalt sozialer Qualitäten aber die zunehmende Größenentwicklung entgegensteht. Für beide Inanspruchnahmen wird empfohlen, sie durch in kollektiver Nutzung verbleibende, multifunktionale Landschaftsgerüste anzureichern.
