Abstract

In this chapter, we focus on the analysis of the corporate governance framework in the Hellenic Republic (Greece) under the institution of the PCC (Private Capital Company). We analyze the main characteristics of this corporate form, highlighting the innovations it brings and the advantages it has over other corporate forms. We also address the adaptability of corporate governance to the specificities of social enterprises and the EU Directive/Communication on Corporate Governance.
