A humane economy, fuelled by social capital and genuine mutual gain, is a promising scenario on our horizons. Humans are not industrial. If you think that’s obvious, you are of course right. That raises the question why much of today’s world is built on industrialist principles and how those principles have permeated beyond the mass manufacturing world into our lives and psyches. Combined with hyper-globalism as we have experienced for several decades now, industrialist principles have turned us into appendages or extensions of production and consumption more so than we perhaps appreciate.
