Abstract

After hearing that Peter had benefitted from SkillsFuture training by taking up courses on personal finance as well as insurance, Teng and Siew Ling had been toying with the idea of how they could improve themselves. They had thought of learning some computer programming but were deterred when they saw the books they would be using. They could barely master English and to learn a computer language seemed forbearing. They wanted something where the learning curve was not too steep but the ‘yield’ in terms of putting the new skill to good use was fast and high…
