Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the concept of the analysis focused on the evaluation of the innovative capacity of the company. The starting point for its assessment of the potential of innovative companies operating in the tourism industry, with regard to the innovation of the company. An important research tool to analyze the relationship between resources and abilities that shows a causal relationship between these categories. Describes the procedure for measuring the qualitative innovation capacity of enterprises. The article presents the results of empirical research on innovation 12 tourism enterprises. It was found that the key determinants of this ability are labor and managerial competence in innovation, and by working jointly with our customers in terms of knowledge, processes associated with the creation and use of knowledge and the use of IT tools. In light given their own empirical research results, as well as the predecessors research results can formulate a thesis that companies compete creation of innovation, as well as innovative capacity. The evaluation of the innovation can be useful in establishing the competitive position and strategic enterprises of the sector.
