El documento explica los principios básicos, las variaciones y debates acerca de las recomendaciones de la Misión Kemmerer para la definición de una política monetaria en el país acorde con los patrones internacionales y las experiencias de los bancos europeos.||*Este capítulo se encuentra incluido en la segunda parte del libro Pensamiento y política monetaria en Colombia 1886-1945, titulada "El pensamiento económico de Kemmerer y su influjo en la reforma financiera de 1923"
