La demanda de carnes en Colombia : un análisis econométrico

Abstract

Se estudia la demanda de carne en Colombia durante 1970 y 1990. Se evalúan las relaciones de sustitución entre los distintos tipos de carnes y se presenta un análisis de elasticidades-ingreso de la demanda, empleando el “Modelo Casi Ideal” propuesto por Deaton y Muellbauer. Se aborda el tema de la demanda de carnes en forma de un sistema de ecuaciones, se determinan simultáneamente las elasticidades para la demanda de cada uno de los tipos de carne, empleando el método de Zellner.
