La estructura de la oferta de becas y ayudas al estudio en las Comunidades Autónomas

Abstract

El presente trabajo aborda el análisis de la estructura de la oferta de becas y ayudas al estudio por parte de las Comunidades Autónomas, así como los cambios que se ha producido entre los cursos 2000-2001 (el año 2000 es el primero en que todas las Comunidades Autónomas cuentan con competencias en educación) y 2007-2008. Las variables y ratios objeto de análisis serán: la estructura y modalidades de becas y ayudas, la distribución del monto total entre los diferentes segmentos educativos, el esfuerzo en términos de gasto en relación al PIB, el importe medio por tipo de beca y la distribución de las cuantías totales de gasto entre las diferentes modalidades de becas. Con todo ello, se pretende obtener pautas diferenciales de configurar las políticas de becas y ayudas al estudio por parte de las distintas Comunidades Autónomas.
