Die TOP 500 Familienunternehmen in Deutschland: Nach Umsatz und Beschäftigung

Abstract

Die TOP 500 Familienunternehmen in Deutschland schaffen selbst in wirtschaftlich herausfordernden Zeiten neue Arbeitsplätze - sowohl im Inland als auch international. Damit unterscheiden sie sich von den Nicht-Familienunternehmen im DAX, die im betrachteten Zeitraum (2013 bis 2022) in Deutschland Arbeitsplätze abgebaut haben. 2022 stellten die beschäftigungsstärksten 500 Familienunternehmen weltweit über 6,4 Millionen Arbeitsplätze bereit. Seit 2013 schufen sie mehr als 1,6 Millionen neue Stellen. Der Gesamtumsatz stieg im gleichen Zeitraum von 1.098 auf 1.786 Milliarden Euro - ein Beleg für die dynamische Entwicklung großer Familienunternehmen trotz Pandemie, Energiekrise und geopolitischer Unsicherheit.
