Investitionspläne für 2026 zeigen allmähliche Bodenbildung an. Ergebnisse der WIFO-Investitionsbefragung vom Herbst 2025

Abstract

Laut den Ergebnissen der WIFO-Investitionsbefragung ging die heimische Investitionsnachfrage im Jahr 2025 abermals zurück. Das Branchenbild lässt auf eine breite Investitionsschwäche schließen. Lediglich Finanz- und Versicherungsdienstleister meldeten 2025 mehrheitlich Investitionszuwächse. Die Investitionsdynamik dürfte auch 2026 sehr verhalten bleiben, wobei sich eine allmähliche Bodenbildung abzeichnet, getragen vor allem von Sachgütererzeugern und Großunternehmen. Kleine und mittelgroße Unternehmen gehen dagegen mehrheitlich von weiteren Investitionskürzungen aus. Auch in den sonstigen wirtschaftlichen Dienstleistungen und den freiberuflichen, wissenschaftlichen und technischen Dienstleistungen plant die Mehrheit der Unternehmen, ihre Investitionen 2026 weiter einzuschränken. Die Investitionstätigkeit wird vor allem durch technologische Entwicklungen getrieben. Am häufigsten dienen Investitionen dem Ersatz veralteter Anlagen oder Ausrüstungen. Kapazitätserweiterungen spielen eine untergeordnete Rolle.
