Beschränkung der Agrarexporte in die Russische Föderation. Mögliche Auswirkungen für Österreich

Abstract

Die Russische Föderation verhängte am 7. August 2014 eine Importblockade für ausgewählte Agrarprodukte und Nahrungsmittel aus der EU und anderen Ländern. Betroffen sind davon rund 30 Produktkategorien von unverarbeiteten und verarbeiteten Gütern. Das relevante Exportvolumen Österreichs beträgt etwa 100 Mio. €. In der Studie wird untersucht, welche direkten und indirekten wirtschaftlichen Auswirkungen von der Beschränkung der Exporte der österreichischen Landwirtschaft und Lebensmittelwirtschaft zu erwarten sind. Dabei wird zwischen kurz- und langfristigen Folgen unterschieden. Maßnahmen zur Minderung der wirtschaftlichen Schäden werden dargestellt und Optionen zur Bewältigung der Herausforderungen aufgezeigt. Der Fokus der Analyse liegt auf Österreich.
