Abstract

Österreich zählt zu den EU-Ländern mit den geringsten Einkommensunterschieden zwischen den privaten Haushalten. Frauen tragen mit ihrer zunehmenden Erwerbsbeteiligung zur Festigung des mittleren Haushaltseinkommens bei. Transferleistungen des Staates stellen sicher, dass Familien mit Kindern und niedrigem Erwerbseinkommen nicht verarmen.
