Effizienzsteigerungen in der Verkehrsinfrastruktur durch Privatisierungsschritte

Abstract

In den letzten Jahrzehnten wurden wesentliche Teile der Verkehrsinfrastruktur Österreichs aus der staatlichen Verwaltung ausgegliedert und in privatrechtliche Unternehmensformen im Staatseigentum übergeführt. Der weitere Infrastrukturausbau soll teilweise über Modelle der "Public Private Partnership" vorangetrieben werden. Neben der Finanzkraft sollen damit auch die Kompetenz und das Leistungsstreben der Privatwirtschaft genutzt werden. Dabei gilt es vor allem Probleme der Risikoverteilung, der Transaktionskosten und von Monopolstellungen zu beachten.
