Ausländische Arbeitskräfte auf dem österreichischen Arbeitsmarkt

Abstract

Die veränderten geopolitischen und wirtschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen lösten in den neunziger Jahren in Österreich einen Wandel der Dynamik und der Struktur der Zuwanderung von Arbeitsmigranten aus. Die Regelung der Zuwanderung gleicht zunehmend der eines Einwanderungslandes. Personen aus den traditionellen Zuwanderungsregionen in Südosteuropa und der Türkei lassen sich überwiegend in Österreich nieder, während die Migration aus dem EWR bzw. der EU sowie den MOEL eine relativ hohe Fluktuation aufweist.
