Digitalization in Economics Education in Universities in Bulgaria - Challenges and Problems

Abstract

The digital transformation of society is already present in all spheres of life and education. The implementation of modern technologies in the educational process will accelerate the acquisition of knowledge, skills and competencies relevant to the modern world by students. Digitalization in the field of education is the new paradigm of high technology development. The importance of the digital delivery of education in economics and finance is- growing in parallel with the digitalization of our societies and economies. The purpose of the present study is to present the impact of digitalization on higher economic education, the challenges facing teachers and students in this process and to analyze the level of digital financial culture.
