Labor Productivity in the Bulgarian Mining Industry

Abstract

The report summarizes the trends in the labor productivity index of the Bulgarian economy for the period from 2000 to 2016. It represents a prediction of the International Labor Organization for its dynamic to 2021. The changes in the labor productivity of Bulgaria and the sector "Industry" are studied for the indicated period. They are determined on the basis of current prices and 2010 prices per employee and per working hour. The tendencies in this change of the labor productivity for the sector "Mining and Quarrying" for the period from 2008 to 2015 is described. A comparative analysis of the realized individual labor productivity of some representative Bulgarian mining enterprises with the average for the sector is made.
