    (Arthur H. Rosenfeld is a member of the California Energy Commission, where he presides over the Research, Development and Demonstration Committee, the Dynamic Pricing Committee, and the Energy Efficiency Committee. Rosenfeld was the founder of the Center for Building Science at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), which he led until 1994. Rosenfeld is a recipient of the Szilard Award for Physics in the Public Interest, the Carnot Award for Energy Efficiency from the U.S. Department of Energy, and the Enrico Fermi Award, the oldest and one of the most prestigious science and technology awards given by the U.S. Government. Dr. Rosenfeld is also the cofounder of the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE), the University of California's Institute for Energy Efficiency (CIEE), and the Washington-based Center for Energy and Climate Solutions (CECS).)
