Modeling Urban Stormwater Runoff Processes Using the Santa Barbara Method

Abstract

This paper presents the calibration and verification of one methodology for computing runoff hydrographs during frequent (i.e., return period of a few days to a few months) single-events (i.e., durations of 0.83–10.5 h), in four small (i.e., 5.97–23.57 ha) urban watersheds of one single predominant land use (i.e., low density residential, high density residential, highway and commercial).
