Abstract

Nous Presentons Dans Cet Article une Analyse de la Securite Routiere Comme Bien Economique En Incorporant les Phenomenes D'externalites et de Risque Moral Qui Y Sont Rattaches. Nous Montrons Comment des Contrats Pareto-Superieurs D'assurance a Plusieurs Periodes Peuvent Etre Definis et Utilises Dans le Contexte du Regime Actuel D'assurance Automobile Quebecois. a Cette Fin, Nous Avons Estime, Par la Methode du Probit et a Partir D'un Echantillon Aleatoire Comprenant L'historique D'environ 20,000 Conducteurs et une Quarantaine de Variables Sur une Periode de 3 Ans (Aout 80 a Juillet 83), la Probabilite Qu'un Individu Donne Soit Implique Dans un Accident Avec Dommages Corporels.
