Rural Development From The Perspective Of Recent History

Abstract

The concept of rural development, from the perspective of recent history, is based on the sustainable development. Rural development approach can be made ??from several perspectives. Rural development involving equitable and balanced economic development, with high levels of social cohesion and inclusion and accountability for the use of natural resources and environmental protection, is sustainable rural development. Rural development relating to rural development by expansion of media and information and by extending rural activities towards the non-agricultural sector and promote extensive agriculture, whose essential feature is the transfer of information, is integrated rural development. Rural development related to networking and partnerships between international organizations, national agencies and civil society organizations to address multi sectorial approach, is multi sectorial rural development. In this paper rural development from the perspective of its evolution is analysed, with emphasis on the Leader initiative of the European model of rural development.
