Abstract

In this paper I have designed an aggregate index of financial performance for the building sector enterprises from Galati - Romania. The creation and calculation of an index of financial performance is a personal contribution to the financial sector analysis of enterprises in our country. The development at national level of the financial performance assessment model presented in this paper may lead not only to establishing a system of classification for enterprises active in the building sector in accordance with their financial performance, but also to extending this system to other sectors of economy.
