Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es identificar en qué medida la calidad, el precio, la tecnología, la gestión del medio ambiente y el mercado, han afectado la com-petitividad del aguacate orgánico michoacano en mercados internacionales. Se utilizó un cuestionario que se aplicó a 17 empresas del sector, posteriormente se construyó un modelo para interrelacionar cada variable utilizando la técnica Partial Least Squares (PLS). Los resultados muestran que la variable mercado es la que tiene mayor incidencia respecto en la competitividad, por lo que se requieren políticas públicas que fortalezcan esta variable principalmente y las empresas logren ser más competitivas.
