Abstract

Desde hace varias décadas, una masa importante de inmigrantes ha venido engatusada por la prosperidad de las que hace augurios nuestra larga y angosta faja de tierra. Las supuestas oportunidades, y los jugosos resultados de nuestros índices macroeconómicos entre otras cosas, podrían hacer pensar que dirigirse a Chile en busca de nuevos rumbos, es una decisión apetecida. Probablemente la realidad con la que se han encontrado estos cientos de miles de personas habrá sido un poco distinta.
